Pro:Centric® is a specialised solution for hotels that want to manage guest-facing content efficiently. With the system, guests can find and watch the available TV channels, check the weather and browse the hotel’s amenities – all from the comfort of their room, using the TV.
Pro:Centric works like a digital concierge: guests are welcomed by the user interface on the TV screen. They can view “electronic billboards” presenting the hotel’s amenities, such as restaurants, bars, the fitness centre and business centres, or use the interactive Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) to pick their favourite sitcom or find premium movie channels.
Hotel staff can customise and update the billboards promoting the amenities and services their guests use. Being able to add or update information quickly and easily brings real savings on printing and distribution, and keeps relevant, valuable information in front of guests.
Pro:Centric® also offers remote programming of TV configuration files (channel map and installer menu), saving the cost of technician visits to change these settings.
Gold applications (PCA200)
- Portal – a welcome page with logo and skins for a custom user interface (two options: “Classic” and “Classic Premium”). Additional information and applications can be added.
- Weather, with a local radar map, current conditions and a 4-day forecast.
- Configurable billboards – using standard DTP tools, electronic boards can be created and customised to present guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions and businesses. Up to 40 custom billboards are supported, depending on the version. The application runs on the server.
- Interactive electronic programme guide.
- Video caching – delivers videos to guests’ TVs for promotional and information purposes in full HD picture quality.
- Admin – a tool for editing the messages and billboards displayed.
EPG option (PCG100)
- A fully interactive electronic programme guide (EPG) with programme information and schedules.
- Configurable colour scheme.
- Available full screen, with picture-in-picture (PIP – while watching one channel you can see what is on another channel in a small window at the same time) or in the classic overlay view.
