One of its business lines is equipment for cable and satellite TV, such as headends, receiving antennas, amplifiers and splitters.
Kathrein headends are known for their high reliability and stability. To this day we service a cable TV installation built in 1990 entirely on Kathrein equipment. The system has of course been upgraded and adapted to the latest solutions (analogue devices replaced with digital ones), but 90% of the equipment has been running since the beginning.
The latest modular headend, UFO Compact Plus, comes with a built-in communication module as standard, allowing remote management via LAN/internet.
